The joint project office under the auspices of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is maintained by VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH and Capgemini Deutschland GmbH. The project office provides content and technical support for the development of the “Mein Bildungsraum” network infrastructure, engages in monitoring and further development, and organises networking activities. All concerns related to funding and project support are the responsibility of the project office.

To meet technical and educational policy requirements, the BMBF is counting on an agile approach and high flexibility in funding. The ministry has established a dedicated Digital Learning Space project group. It realises all developments within the digital learning space in line with the needs of the target groups.
